Ordering
The easiest way of ordering is by using the Albion Europe webshop. Just find the sword you want, add it to your shopping cart and check out. The first time you visit us you can choose to create an account. This way you won't have to fill in your shipping information when you come back for your next Albion sword. It's very easy and the webshop will guide you through it.

Shipping
Our swords are shipped in specially made boxes with foam inserts suspending the sword in place. Museum Line swords are shipped in a wooden crate placed in a cardboard box.  

We ship within Denmark via PostDanmark and to the rest of Europe using DHL. Shipping costs are EUR 13 for Denmark and EUR 45 for the rest of Europe.

Larger swords or multiple items will increase the shipping charge. Other options, such as rush shipping, are available for additional charge.

Shipments are delivered on business days within 5 to 7 business days, normally between 9:00 a.m. and 16:00 p.m. Please note you need to be present to accept your delivery, otherwise our shipping company will instead leave a note to arrange delivery at a separate time. The actual delivery time depends on where in Europe you live.

We are unable to take orders for delivery to PO Boxes.

In Stock
Such swords will be shipped within 7 to 10 days. Before it can be shipped I need to get an export permit for the sword(s) from the Danish police. This usually takes about 7 working days. When shipped the sword will be delivered within an additional  5 to 7 days.

In Production but not in Stock
Such swords are in production at Albion Swords Ltd (US) but not currently in stock at Albion Europe. We try to keep most models in stock - but cannot have all grip colors in stock for all sword models. To keep the cost of the swords down we receive all sword orders from Albion Swords Ltd (US) by ship. At the moment we expect to receive at least six shipments each year. In worst case it might take your sword up to four months to reach you.

Available for Advance reservation
Such swords are still under research and development at Albion Swords Ltd (US) and the completion date is unknown. If you send us an email we will give you our best estimate of when it will be available. Since all models are limited editions you might still want to reserve one of these swords and you can do this by paying the deposit in question.

VAT
All prices include 25% Danish VAT. Customers within the EU shall not pay any other VAT. Please note that customers ordering from Norway, Switzerland or other countries outside the EU do not pay Danish VAT but will pay local VAT/tax when the sword passes through customs. 

Payment
As a buyer you represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information supplied is true, correct and complete and (ii) charges incurred by you will be honoured by your credit card company and (iii) you will pay charges incurred by you at the amounts in effect at the time incurred, including all applicable taxes.  You agree to keep your password confidential and to notify Albion Europe within 24 hours of any unauthorized use of the password. Albion Europe does not protect you from unauthorized use of your password. We accept MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB or wire transfer.

Deposits
Deposits of EUR 100/200 (depending on sword model) can be made on swords that are not yet in production (those marked as "Available for Advance Reservation"). This way you can get a place in the production line and also make sure that you get a model that's only made in small numbers.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Return Policy
We believe that our swords must meet your highest expectations - and so must our service. If you are unhappy with your purchase, return the item in its original condition within 30 days of receipt. We will then refund the purchase price. If an item is defective in any way, please return it for repair or replacement. We reserve the right to refuse refund of all or part of the purchase price if it appears the product returned was damaged by the customer while in his or her possession.

Deposits, executed payment plans and custom orders are non-refundable. Upon cancellation of an order, these funds will be issued to you as store credit.

We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason, without explanation.

Legal notice
Being a customer of Albion Europe ApS, you certify that you are under no restrictions of law that may prohibit or restrict your possession of edged weapons. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not Albion Europe ApS, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from Albion Europe ApS. We suggest that you consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that he or she is of full legal age. Albion Europe ApS will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from our company. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless either the company, its owners, investors, board members, and staff against any and all claims, demands, actions, or proceedings, resulting in injury, death or damages, losses, and/or liabilities, costs and expenses, including attorney fees, relating to or arising out of any claim asserted by you against the aforementioned companies.

These terms and conditions shall be treated as though they were executed and performed in Denmark and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark (without regard to conflict of law principles).
